I would suspend the teacher with pay pending investigation of the charge.

The simply reinforces that sexual harrasment is innapropriate and victims can seek equitable relief for such violations. And that would be a Section 1983 pursuant to Title IX.

In terms of sexual harassment, it's concerning to think that this so often happens and is unreported to administrators. I think it is an issue that needs to be addressed very seriously by administrators. It can impact all students of both genders and does not discriminate in terms of race or class. It is an issue that cannot be taken lightly. It should be thoroughly investigated and all threats should be be addressed quickly.

A victim can seek monetary (equitable relief) for past wrongs that prove to be in violation of the law.

This case has confirmed my initial feelings. It is unacceptable on all levels, from all staff. If a student claims sexual harassment from a staff member, it must be investigated immediately.

This case has reaffirmed my thinking which is a person who is sexually harrassed will always have a case no matter the timeline. People should consider their actions because at the end of the day, you will be held liable for those actions.

I believe sexual harassment should not be taken lightly and that students should be protected from teachers or people in authority that they respect.
